A short trek in Uttarakhand's Garhwal region to Tungnath, the world's highest Shiva temple at 3,680 m, and Chandrashila summit at 13,000 ft. You drive from Rishikesh to Chopta via Devprayag and Dhari Devi, and spend two nights in Swiss camps or a homestay.
Summit day brings 360° views of Nanda Devi, Trisul, Kedarnath, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba. On the last day you trek to Deoriatal, a forest lake that reflects the snow peaks, before heading back to Noida. The route is easy to reach and suits beginners as well as seasoned trekkers.

Day 0 – Departure from Delhi NCR | Overnight Journey to Chopta Begin your TravelMite Chopta–Tungnath–Chandrashila–Deoriatal Trek with an evening departure from Delhi NCR / Noida.
Meet your fellow travellers and TravelMite trip coordinator before starting the overnight journey towards the Himalayas.
Travel in a private vehicle via Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee and Haridwar, covering approximately 450 km towards Chopta.
Guests joining from Rishikesh can board from the designated pickup point in the morning. Sit back, get comfortable and let TravelMite take care of the journey as your Himalayan adventure begins.

Start the morning with a refreshing tea break before continuing towards Chopta through the scenic Himalayan route via Srinagar, Rudraprayag and Ukhimath.
En route, visit some of Uttarakhand’s most significant spiritual landmarks:
- Devprayag Sangam – The sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers.
- Raghunath Temple – One of the region’s historic temples dedicated to Lord Rama.
- Dhari Devi Temple – A revered Shakti shrine on the banks of the Alaknanda.
- Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath – The winter seat associated with Kedarnath Ji and Madhyamaheshwar Ji (If time permits).
Arrive in Chopta by afternoon, check in to your campsite or homestay, relax, and take in the peaceful mountain surroundings.
