Upper Mustang SUV/Motorcycle Tour in Lo Manthang 33100

Assemble to meet and greet your fellow adventurers at Gorakhpur. This is our starting point where we will prepare for the epic journey ahead. Stay for this night is to be arranged by the individual.

The trip begins with a drive or ride to Sonauli at the Indo-Nepal border. After completing the border formalities, we will head towards the beautiful city of Pokhara, covering approximately 285 km.

Enjoy a well-deserved relax day in Pokhara. We can spend our time boating on the serene lake, going sightseeing around the local attractions, and shopping for traditional souvenirs to take back home.

Embark on an exciting 158-kilometer journey from Pokhara to Jomsom via Marpha. We will witness incredible sights along the way, including Kushma and the famous Golden Hanging Bridge.

Drive or ride from Muktinath through Kagbeni and Ghami to reach the ancient walled city of Lo Manthang. This 45-kilometer journey offers surreal desert-like views framed by the towering Himalayan ranges.

Spend the day exploring the fascinating ancient Chusang Caves and Jhong caves. Immerse yourself in the preserved Tibetan Buddhist heritage before spending another night in Lo Manthang.

Begin the descent from the high-altitude desert with a 110-kilometer drive from Lo Manthang to Kalopani or Tatopani. Navigate the challenging terrain, steep ascents, and rocky trails.

Drive back from Tatopani to Pokhara. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the Hotel Majestic Front, recovering from the rugged adventure, and sharing memories with fellow riders.

Drive from Pokhara to Bhairwaha. We have the option to take a detour to the sacred site of Lumbini if we wish to explore more before the journey concludes.

After an early breakfast, we will exit the Indo-Nepal border at Sunauli, bringing our incredible Upper Mustang expedition to a close.
