About Me

Aquilla Hikes is a travel company that designs weekend group trips, treks and backpacking journeys from Delhi to the Himalayas and beyond. Co-founders Aakash and Shikha started it to make mountain travel simple, social and safe: a Trip Captain travels with every group, transport from Delhi and back, stays and meals are handled as listed, and you meet fellow travellers on the way. The trips cover Manali, Kasol, Jibhi, Tirthan Valley, McLeodganj and Triund, Chopta Tungnath, Chitkul and Kalpa, Spiti Valley, Rishikesh, Nainital, Kanatal, Chakrata, Munsiyari, Yulla Kanda, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Jaisalmer, with all-girls departures on selected trips and international trips such as Phuket and Krabi. Aquilla Hikes also plans customised trips and corporate travel. The team works with local vendors, homestays and guides, so every trip supports the communities it passes through.
