Kaas Plateau, also known as the Kaas Pathar, is a biodiversity hotspot known for various types of seasonal flower blooms and numerous species of endemic butterflies. From pretty orchids to the wild and predatory Drosera Indica, there are more than 850 species of plants that bloom in Kass from August to October.

Note: People travelling by their vehicle must meet our team at Hotel Three Star in Kharghar at 11:50 p.m. and follow our vehicle to the base village.

Itinerary
You’ll meet our team at the designated Meeting Point and Pickup Time. For those who opted for “Without Bus Pickup,” please reach Hotel Three Star in Khargar at 11:50pm and follow our vehicle to Kaas.

- The journey begins from Borivali at 9:00 PM by bus.
- We’ll reach the base village around 7:00 AM. Freshen up at the breakfast point and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
- After a short introduction and instruction round, we’ll continue our drive towards Kaas Plateau (Kaas Pathar).
- By 7:30 AM, we’ll reach the plateau and explore the enchanting valley of flowers. The bloom-covered stretch can be covered with a brisk 15-minute walk, but you’re free to take your time and soak in the beauty at your own pace.
- Next, we’ll visit the picturesque Kumudini Lake, famous for its serene lotus blooms.
- Post exploration, we’ll head back for lunch.
- Around 3:00 PM, we’ll begin our return journey towards Mumbai.
- Expect to reach Mumbai by approximately 10:30 PM, depending on traffic conditions.
