Hampi is a fantasy world of rocks and ruins; a carnival of cravings. The magnificent ruins of Hampi dot an unearthly landscape that has captivated travelers for centuries. Heaps of giant boulders perch precariously over kilometers of undulating terrain, their rusty hues offset by jade-green palm groves, banana plantations, and paddy fields. Let’s pack our bags to get adventurous with the Hampi trip.

Itinerary

Hampi Trip Begins

Sep

You’ll be boarding the Hospet Express (11139) from CSMT at 21:00 PM.

The train will halt at Pune at 01:05 AM, only for participants who have opted for train tickets from Mumbai & Pune.

Participants traveling by bus will depart from Borivali at 03:00 PM.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group enjoys Fun Time in the Bus

We arrive at Hospet by 1:00 PM and begin our exciting Hampi tour.

Transfer to Hippie Island

After breakfast, we head towards the heritage side of Hampi to explore its ancient marvels and rich architectural legacy. Our morning begins with visits to Kadle Kal Ganesh, Krishna Temple, Badavilinga, and the awe-inspiring Narasimha Temple, each site narrating stories from centuries past and showcasing the artistic grandeur of the Vijayanagara Empire.

Post lunch, we continue our exploration with visits to Queen’s Bath, Pushkarani, Hazara Rama Temple, and the iconic Stone Chariot at Vitthal Temple. We’ll also admire the intricate beauty of Lotus Mahal and the majestic Elephant Stables, followed by a stroll through the lively Hampi Bazaar and scenic Hemakuta Hills, offering glimpses into the daily life and royal elegance of the bygone era.

As the day winds down, we visit the sacred Virupaksha Temple, one of Hampi’s most revered sites. The day concludes with a mesmerizing sunset at Malyavanta Raghunatha Temple, painting the boulder-strewn landscape in golden hues. After soaking in the tranquil evening views, we return to our stay to relax and unwind.
