Interakt alternatives for travel and event businesses in India
Interakt sells a WhatsApp and Instagram inbox at ₹2,799 a month for Growth and ₹3,799 for Advanced, with unlimited agents, which is genuinely unusual in this market. Its pricing table also charges a different per-message rate on every tier and labels the top tier No Markup Charges, so by Interakt's own framing the cheaper plans carry a margin on each message. If what you actually need is to turn enquiries into bookings rather than to staff an inbox, you are comparing an inbox against a booking record, and the price per seat is not the variable.
Interakt's pricing table charges a different rate for the same WhatsApp message on every tier, and labels the top tier "No Markup Charges". It is also one of the better-priced WhatsApp Business API products in India, and its unlimited-agent policy is a real advantage over per-seat competitors. Neither of those is the reason a business selling trips or tickets ends up shopping here.
What Interakt publishes
Read off Interakt's pricing page on 19 September 2026. The Marketing and Support Hub is now sold as one plan set rather than two products, despite both still appearing separately in the site navigation.
| Plan | Monthly | Quarterly | Channels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Listed as "Not Applicable" | Not published | Pick any one channel, Instagram only |
| Growth | ₹2,799 | ₹7,699 | WhatsApp and Instagram |
| Advanced | ₹3,799 | ₹10,499 | WhatsApp and Instagram |
| Enterprise | On request | On request | WhatsApp, Instagram and RCS |
Every Hub tier advertises unlimited agents, with the caveat that Sales CRM roles are not included. The Sales CRM is a separate line at ₹2,499 a month with five sales agents and ₹499 a month per agent after that, and it is WhatsApp only. A standalone Instagram plan runs ₹999 a month. Annual billing is advertised at 20% off, but the page's own scripts carry more than one number for the resulting yearly price, so take the yearly figure from your quote rather than from the page.
The same message costs more on a cheaper plan
Interakt's comparison table has a line called "Message cost (Based on the type of template)", footnoted for Indian destination numbers, and the rate is different on every tier.
| Plan | Marketing | Utility | Authentication |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | ₹0.970 | ₹0.160 | ₹0.129 |
| Growth | ₹0.958 | ₹0.150 | ₹0.128 |
| Advanced | ₹0.949 | ₹0.140 | ₹0.127 |
| Enterprise | "No Markup Charges" | "No Markup Charges" | "No Markup Charges" |
Meta charges one rate for a marketing template to an Indian number, and it does not charge Interakt less because you upgraded. So the ₹0.021 spread between Starter and Advanced is a margin Interakt sets itself, and the Enterprise row labelled "No Markup Charges" says the top tier carries none. Ask Interakt for the Enterprise no-markup rate; that is the base, and every other tier is the base plus something.
The same page contradicts itself on one more number. WhatsApp AI Agents are priced at ₹2,499 a month on their own tab, and described as "₹3000 INR for Growth & Advanced plan" in a footnote on the Hub cards. Get that one in writing too.
How operators do this today
| How it works today | Where it breaks | What Thrivia does instead |
|---|---|---|
| Every enquiry becomes a WhatsApp thread, and the team works the threads. | Threads have no departure date, no seat count and no balance owing, so the answer to "how full is the 14 March batch" lives in a spreadsheet the threads do not update. | The enquiry is a lead on a trip and a batch. Capacity, money collected and money owing come off the same record. |
| Message cost is a per-tier rate on a pricing table, with the base rate not published. | You can see what you are charged but not what it cost, so you cannot tell an upgrade from a discount. | Before activation the panel projects the campaign's cost and how many days it will take to clear at your Meta messaging tier. Billing afterwards runs off delivery receipts rather than the estimate. |
| Follow-up is a broadcast, or a chatbot flow, or a person remembering. | A broadcast treats the person who paid last week and the person who went quiet in July as the same audience. | A sequence of up to ten steps against a filtered slice of your own leads, each step timed from enrolment or from the step before it, inside a send window you set. |
| Payment is a link pasted into the thread. | A link that is paid tells the thread nothing. Somebody still reconciles it to a booking by hand. | The payment is the booking. In manual mode the traveller pays your own UPI VPA and uploads the reference for you to verify; in gateway mode a payment gateway collects at 4.9% inclusive of GST and settles to your own account on a T+2 cycle. |
| One inbox covers sales enquiries and customer support, with agents assigned across both. | Nothing breaks. Unlimited agents on a ₹2,799 plan is a good deal for a support team. | Nothing. Thrivia has no shared support inbox, no agent assignment and no ticketing, and is not trying to price against one. |
When Interakt is the right buy
Buy Interakt if you are running retail or ecommerce on WhatsApp, if you need many people answering chats and the per-seat pricing elsewhere is what is hurting, or if Instagram comment and DM automation is central to how you sell. Its Instagram side is a first-class channel rather than an afterthought, which is more than most of this category can say.
Look elsewhere if your product is a trip, a batch or a ticketed date, because none of the objects that matter to you exist in an inbox. The tour operators page sets out what that looks like in practice, and the Instagram DM guide covers the enquiry path that starts on Instagram and has to end in a paid seat.
Common questions
How much does Interakt cost per month in India?
On 19 September 2026 Interakt's pricing page lists the Marketing and Support Hub at ₹2,799 a month for Growth and ₹3,799 for Advanced, both plus taxes, with quarterly at ₹7,699 and ₹10,499. A standalone Instagram Starter plan is ₹999 a month and the separate Sales CRM is ₹2,499 a month.
Does Interakt mark up WhatsApp message charges?
Its own pricing table charges a different per-message rate on each tier, from ₹0.970 for marketing on Starter down to ₹0.949 on Advanced, and labels the Enterprise tier No Markup Charges. Since Meta's rate to India does not change with your plan, that spread is Interakt's margin. Interakt does not publish Meta's base rate, so the markup cannot be sized from its own pages.
Does Interakt include unlimited agents?
All four Marketing and Support Hub tiers advertise unlimited agents, with the caveat that Sales CRM roles are not included. The separate Sales CRM plan includes five sales agents and charges ₹499 a month for each additional one.
Is Thrivia cheaper than Interakt?
They are not the same purchase, so a price comparison is misleading. Interakt sells a WhatsApp and Instagram inbox with agents. Thrivia sells a booking platform where WhatsApp campaigns run against your own leads, and it has no shared support inbox at all.
